Seymour’s deep connection to the diamond industry began in South Africa, where he learned the trade through the foundational knowledge passed down by his mother, Mary. In the early 1980s, Seymour brought this legacy to Texas, establishing the original diamond broker business that became a trusted cornerstone of the Dallas-Fort Worth jewelry scene. After a brief and well-deserved retirement, Seymour’s lifelong fascination with fine jewelry drew him back to the family craft. Today, he serves as a senior consultant and advisor at RS Diamond Broker, lending his legendary expertise, honest guidance, and decades of localized knowledge to a new generation of clients.

Who are we?
RS Diamond Broker in Dallas is a trusted, ethical, and honest local diamond company. For over 40 years, Seymour and Robert Wolchuk have been making memories with their customers, offering the finest Diamonds, engagement rings, Loose diamonds, and fine jewelry in DFW.
How the story began. Their mother, Mary, started in the diamond business in South Africa when she was only 19. She worked her way up at the South African Diamond Exchange to become the president's personal assistant. She met and learned about the diamond business from the very people who would become major players in the global diamond market. Contacts we still have to this day. She passed this knowledge down to her family and created the diamond and jewelry passion that continues with her sons. The Dallas Story. Her son Seymour came to Dallas, Texas. Working in the diamond business here in DFW for many years, in the early 1980s he created and founded The Diamond Broker, the business that started it all in DFW. His brother Robert joined the business 30 years ago. They have been known and trusted in Dallas for Decades. Several years ago, Seymour retired from the business after a long and satisfying career. Our North Dallas RS Diamond Broker Store Recently, after realizing he still had a fascination with the jewelry industry, Seymour agreed to be a consultant and advisor for a new venture run by Robert in DFW. The legacy continues with the brothers remaining the diamond broker in Texas that people trust.
